Lil Wayne: "Right Above It" f. Drake (CDQ)

Aug. 3 Update: We all know celebrities get special treatment in the joint. But damn, Lil Wayne gets to call in to Funk Flex's radio show and shoot the shit? Whatever, at least the end result of Weezy's night on the air waves is the first leak from his forthcoming I'm Not a Human Being EP. "Right Above It" currently exists only with DJ Clue shouting all over it, per usual, but you can definitely get the gist of things here. First of all, Wayne is certainly back on his rapping tip, even if he decides to "sing" the hook. Not sure why Drake didn't tackle those vocals, but he does provide a nice enough opening verse. And after listening a few times, it's just refreshing to hear these two rapping together on a triumphant, albeit repetitive, beat from Kane Beatz.
