Lil Wayne's ill-advised rock album Rebirth must still be up for release, because Wayne was on The View (yes, The View) performing first single "Prom Queen," which definitely hasn't not gotten better on repeat spins. I mean, sure, Wayne is taking a chance, but this isn't like Kanye doing an Auto-Tuned album; Wayne is known as idiosyncratic rapper that the pop world came around to, not the other way around. Wayne's performance (above) is punctuated with him shouting for the moms in the crowd to throw their arms up, and is far outshone by his awkward interview where the talking birds ask him about his teeth, his tattoos, and about kind of stupid topics.
