Lil Wayne: "Dear Anne (Stan Pt. 2)"

Time to take a break from watching his appearance on MTV Unplugged, Lil Wayne fanatics, as one of the more hyped tracks from his recent time in the studio has leaked. But here's the weird part, "Dear Anne (Stan Pt. 2)" won't appear on his next opus, Tha Carter IV. At least, that's the word around the web.

Anyway, as its title makes clear, the track is like Eminem's "Stan," only in reverse and completely without violence. Because rather than hearing it from the rabid fan's point of view, "Dear Anne" is Weezy's letter to his number one fan. Backed by Swizz Beatz's stuttering drums and piano, Wayne uses his three-page-letter-in-the-form-of-a-song as a means to relieve stress and chronicle the bullshit he has dealt with as of late. It's definitely one of the more revealing tracks we have heard from him in recent memory, though he never gets as detailed as you might hope in his verses.
