Dec. 14 Update: It's here. Lil Wayne is back.
Even though he spent most of 2010 in jail, Lil Wayne, with some help from his Young Money crew, maintained his status as one of hip-hop's biggest names. He also released an EP, I Am Not a Human Being, in September for cryin' out loud. But following his release in November, Weezy's remained relatively quiet, with only a few features from popping up since.
Now, however, we have a brand new track from Wayne that's also apparently the first leak from his forthcoming Tha Carter IV. Called "6'7'," the song has been called the 2010 version of "A Milli" on steroids, according to Weezy's pal DJ Scoob. And as he's done in the past with recent signees, Weezy has enlisted Young Money newcomer Cory Gunz to spit on "6'7'," too.
It's a banger, folks, so get ready to hear it all over the radio for the next...oh, let's say three-to-six months. Stream it below courtesy of 2DopeBoyz.
Can't wait to hear this but maybe my expectations are too high.
