“Like A Sundae” And “Spraypaint”

It’s been a while since we had an album from acid-fried Pittsburgh band Black Moth Super Rainbow, with 2009’s Eating Us their last full-length effort. Now, a couple of new tracks have surfaced, presumably as a way of previewing the Eating Us follow-up, Psychic Love Damage. “Like a Sundae” sticks closely to the upbeat, vocoder-and-synth sound the band has steadily worked within for years now, while “Spraypaint” takes the same formula and slows it down a touch. Black Moth is a band that evolves slowly, taking a Clinic-like adherence to sticking to the same aesthetic and only tweaking it gently with every passing year. Check out the two new tracks below.
