New York nu-discoists are signed to Drag City, but they're all DFA; ebullient bass lines, excellent drum production and an acceptance of dance music tropes. In the video for their slithering "Fire Night," the band get all trippy, dancing in bubbly and glittery environments, and throwing bones, for some reason. [Pitchfork]
