Lightning Dust: "Never Seen" (Audio)

Lightning Dust, the side project of Black Mountain members Amber Webber and Joshua Wells, has released a new MP3 from their upcoming album, Infinite Light. "Never Seen" features the heavy vibrato of Webber's vocals surrounded by piano and synthesizer that stay in the background until the final section of the song reaches a climax of gothic gloom. The retro-video-game synth-sound provides a playful quality that keeps the song on the brink of melodramatic excess, rather than falling directly into the abyss.

Infinite Light will be released August 4 on Jagjaguwar.
