For U.S. readers today marks the end of a glorious three-day weekend. It also means those of us stuck back at work are feeling particularly prickly. Luckily, the internet has provided just the thing to get us through the day: You can now stream the Liars newest album WIXIW in full. Another zig in a career of aesthetic zigzags, the album (pronounced “wish you”) is built around a lot of goth-tinged synths and thin drum-machine beats. At times the collection even approaches the quiet grooviness of Arthur Russell’s more contemplative work -- not a bad way to get through your Tuesday.
WIXIW is out via Mute on June 5.
