Liars: "The Overachievers" (Video)
What better way to kick off the weekend than to contemplate a mysterious, shadowy bag secreting black liquid on to what appears to be a cup of eggs?
Directed by Liars multi-instrumentalist Andrew Hemphill, the video for the rollicking Sisterworld cut "The Overachievers" finds its protagonist doing exactly this, all while logging in some serious time on an elliptical machine and downing a nutritious shake. That bag must be weighing on his mind pretty hard, if his intense gaze is any indication.
"The Overachievers" is being released as a 12-inch single on May 25, and will be accompanied by two unreleased songs ("Pleasure Is Boss," and "Only Sometimes"), in addition to Devendra Banhart and The Grogs' take on the title track.
