Lia Ices: "Little Marriage" (Video)
Grown Unknown by Lia Ices may have come out a year ago, but it’s the kind of record that slowly seeps under your skin. So Secretly Canadian/Jagjaguwar is still out there pushing it, with the latest effort coming in the shape of a video for “Little Marriage.” The visuals here all appear to be found footage, carefully assemble by director Heidi Petty, who sets the deathly slow pace of the track to a montage of ballet dancers. It’s a decent attempt at finding some visual stimulus to complement the sparse nature of the song, with Lia Ices’ music matching the grace and poise of the dancers on-screen. Check it out below.
