Whoever booked the entertainment for last night's NBA all-star game made the solid call of booking Rihanna, Drake and Kanye West. That makes sense: Those three are three of the biggest performers in music right now. But the music supervisor apparently fell through a wormhole to 1993 when booking the early performers: Lenny Kravitz, for whatever reason, played "Are You Gonna Go My Way" before the playes get introduced, and then he bailed as his band had to play for close to 12 minutes as CP3 and others were introduced. And then Kravitz brought us back to 1998, with "Fly Away," his last huge single. Just great stuff, here guys! It's like the last 15 years of rap, indie rock, commercial rock, dubstep, chillwave, post-punk, regular punk and electronica never happened!
