Lee Bannon: "The All That Beat Cast"

On Feb. 28, Sacramento producer Lee Bannon will release his first full-length effort, Fantastic Plastic, since signing with Plug Research last year. And rather than just go with the obvious promotional choice of leaking tracks off the album, he's decided to do something entirely different. Bannon has put together a series of new 10-minute tracks that begins today with "The All That Beat Cast." As you might have deduced, the song samples vocals and music from popular former Nickelodeon sketch show All That while also featuring strings and guitars lifted from more obscure sources. Fans of Madlib and MF DOOM take note: this dude's clearly a student of their work. Stream the track below.
