LCD Soundsystem, The Beatles, The Kinks: "The Brits are Playing at My House" (Mashup Video)

I typically fall into the anti-mashup contingent, since most of them are pure novelty items that cool in concept and so-so in execution. This mashup, titled "The Brits are Playing at My House," is better than most; It reveals unrealized similarities between the grooves of LCD Soundsystem's "Daft Punk are Playing at My House," the Beatles' "Get Back," and The Kinks "You Really Got Me." The video mashup certainly helps considerably, as well, because half of the delight here comes from the videos for each song being inter spliced. [You Ain't No Picasso]
