Lavender Diamond: "Like a Prayer" (Madonna Cover) (Video)

Two years ago, Lavender Diamond's cover of Madonna's "Like a Prayer" was included on Through the Wilderness, an art-rockers-cover-Madonna album released by Manimal Vinyl. This week, the video of Lavender Diamond's cover of Madonna's "Like a Prayer" got released, which makes perfect sense, because everyone remembers the album and this cover, because there have been no art-rockers-cover-pop-hits projects since then. This video is kind of cute though, since it reminds me of those early-90s kid movies that were available at Wal-Mart for like 99-cents on VHS. [Stereogum]
