Lauryn Hill: "Repercussions"
It's looking like the second half of 2010 might feature a mini-comeback of sorts for Lauryn Hill. She's been playing shows sporadically for a while now, but earlier this summer she was caught giving a lively performance at the Harmony Festival. She also took part in an interview with NPR and was added as a special guest to the Rock the Bells festival.
And now we have "Repercussions," which is being labeled as an older, unreleased track from Ms. Hill. But for a track that was left in the vault for so long, it certainly sounds finished and, most importantly, really good. As such, this has me thinking the leak might have been on purpose to build the hype for her Rock the Bells performances. Or, this is also entirely possible, someone got bored and decided to throw this on the web.
