Lateef The Truthspeaker: 'Truth At Sea' (Mixtape)
West Coast hip-hop mainstay Lateef The Truthspeaker is gearing up to drop his latest solo album, FireWire, Nov. 8 via Quannum Project. But before he does so, he's going the typical promotional rap route for a minute by dropping a holdover mixtape. It features new and admittedly experimental material from the rapper who is joined on here by Latyrx cohort Lyrics Born, Rogue Wave's Zach Rogue, Josie Stingray, Trackademicks, and Atmosphere frontman Slug. There are also numerous vocal drops, one of which comes courtesy of comedic actor Fred Armisen. Awesome. You can stream and download the mixtape below.
