Theophilus London is unapologetic about being in love the ’80s. From his style to his his beat selection to everything in between, dude is not afraid to take everything from the decade, put his own spin on it, and present it in a new, fun-as-hell package. And his latest single, “Last Name London,” continues that tradition while being one of the more rap-heavy cuts he has released to date. The track and its visuals, which are filled with skinny jeans and smoke machines, also serve as an introduction to the Brooklyn rapper-singer.
There’s no better time than now to get acquainted with London, either, as he’s set to drop his Warner Bros. debut, Timez Are Weird These Days, July 19.
