Kudos to video director WeWereMonkeys for turning out this surprisingly lovely, bizarre video for "It's Okay," a pretty good track from Land of Talk's overlooked sophomore record, Some Are Lakes. The clip's bizarre mix of what appears to be animation and special effects, set in some kind of Tolkien/Le Guin fantasy world doesn't really appear to have to have anything to do with the Land of Talk track, but they still go together beautifully anyway. Indie music video directors take note: something doesn't have to feel like arbitrary gibberish in order to be original and arresting.
I am pleased to report I have been upclose to Liz Powell's underwear. It was at a BSS concert, but I'm counting it anyway.
You are a snob and shouldn't be in the writing business. Oh, and you bore me to death.
