"Ace Of Hz" is Ladytron's first piece of recorded music since 2008's Velocifero. The new track definitely sounds like it could have come from that album, as it leans heavily towards Ladytron's more streamlined, poppy tendencies than the snowblind bliss of 2005's Witching Hour. It contains most of the usual Ladytron signifiers--Helen Marnie and Mira Aroyo's swooning vocals and banks of busy keyboards played over a stuttering beat. A little disappointing in that it doesn't really take the long-running group in any new directions, but still a solid track. Give it a listen below.
