Further distancing herself from the grime sound that brought her international attention, "So Human," the latest single from Lady Sovereign, samples The Cure's "Close To Me" and is reminiscent of synth divas like Uffie and Lady GaGa. As pop as the song may be, it's probably Lady Sovereign's most mature and introspective song yet and shares with the world that even S-O-V can have a downer of a day. The video makes it a point to show that she still hasn't lost her sense of humor, complete with magazine cover parodies and an intentional tripping of a starlet on the red carpet.
