Lady Sovereign's transformation into an M.I.A.-style pop-provocateur is nearly complete--the new single from her upcoming Jigsaw LP, "So Human" samples the Cure classic, "Close To You." Whether this will translate into a pop hit like M.I.A.'s Clash-sampling opus, "Paper Planes," is yet to be seen, but you can't argue with her sample choice--it's kind of surprising this hasn't been done yet.
