You can almost feel Coldplay fans across the world seething as Lady GaGa lays into their “Viva La Vida” in this session for BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge. GaGa wickedly croons “be Your Chris and I’ll be your Gwyneth” as the song progresses, and offers “strong apologies to Coldplay” toward the end of the song.
But such false modesty is entirely unnecessary, as GaGa does a wonderful job of delivering the song, which is far preferable to Coldplay’s version. There is some predictable outrage among the comments on this YouTube clip, but also some generous praise from those who realize that GaGa’s talent is far greater than that of Chris Martin.

I couldn't disagree more. I actually think the exact opposite, nick. It's sad to watch lady gaga perform, and enough about the Coldplay bashing, there's nothing wrong with them. At least they are not selling some status of being the best anything on the planet.
Kadgi, nobody said Gaga was the best anything on the planet, sounds like you've got a little resentment toward her because (nearly) everyone loves her so much- and nothing you say will ever take that away.
