La Roux: Quicksand (Video)

23 year-old English upstart La Roux seems pretty busy, with her first single, "Quicksand," being released on Kitsuné Dec. 15, and a spot opening for Lily Allen on her upcoming UK tour next March. Somehow in this flurry of activity, she's managed to include time to cut a clip for "Quicksand" with Kinga Burza, whose previously done work for Ladyhawke, The Teeangers, and Katy Perry. The video never gets so literal as to include actual quicksand, but we do get some sunsets, some gymnastics upon human balance beams, and some prime shots of La Roux's pretty face looking pouty and serious, right before the end where some kind of weird leopard thing happens with it.
