Kurt Vile: "In My Time"
The title track “In My Time” from Kurt Vile's forthcoming 7-inch begins as a lush, stripped-down affair that showcases Vile pulling from mid-tempo Athens, Georgia late 80's pop or even Australia’s The Go-Betweens. Then he steps on a peddle and we are momentarily awoken by a squealing guitar solo before falling back into the dreamy landscape.
Vile sets out on a month-long today across the U.S. starting in Atlanta, GA. Dates can be found via Vile's Myspace.
In My Time, will be released via Matador on Nov. 9th and digitally Oct. 25th.
