KT Tunstall: "Madame Trudeaux" (Live On Conan) (Video)

Scottish singer-songwriter KT Tunstall has slowly built an audience since the release of her Eye to the Telescope back in 2004. It seems people on these shores are finally starting to get the message about her work, as she made her North American TV debut last night (July 24) on Conan O’Brien's show. “Madame Trudeaux” was penned by Tunstall and songwriting juggernaut Linda Perry, and it’s not hard to detect the toughened rock sound of the latter in the sparse groove of this song. This is the kind of sound that could translate to audiences over here, especially as people seem to be lapping up strong female voices at present—she should probably lose the leather pants, though. what the hell? KT Tunstalls North American TV debut would have been some time in 2005 when she became famous on both sides of the Atlantic. People have been 'getting her message' in America for over 6 years now. Ever tried a little bit of research?
