The Smirnoff Signature Mix Series is a campaign pairing off three classic emcees with acclaimed producers to revisit iconic songs. Common teamed up with Just Blaze for "The Light 08" and Q-Tip was paired with Cool and Dre to redo A Tribe Called Quest's "Midnight." 

Hip-hop scholar KRS-One gets the Primo treatment while revisiting his '87 classic, "Criminal Minded." With his signature looped-up sample and scratch chorus, Premier lays the groundwork for Kris Parker to tear it down. The video shows the both of them in the studio, KRS rapping and Premier on the breaks, in a very vintage glow.
