Korn: "Let The Guilt Go" (Live On Lopez) (Video)

It’s been three years since the last Korn album, pompously titled Untitled, but now we have Korn III: Remember Who You Are on our hands. The busy Ross Robinson, who also produced the new Klaxons album, which is currently being listened to by approximately zero Korn fans, returned to work with the band, and they headed out to Lopez Tonight yesterday (Aug. 24) to perform “Let the Guilt Go” from that new record.

This is a stylistic volte face for Jonathan Davis and his band, who have eschewed their familiar brand of pummeling metal and instead worked hard to bring a lightweight pop sheen to their sound, somewhat reminiscent of the Pet Shop Boys or Depeche Mode…but no, seriously folks, this is business as usual for Korn, and if you’re not a fan, you can at least derive some amusement from Davis’s mic stand, which is shaped like a headless model of the robot from Metropolis.
