“Know Where” (Video)

A typically oblique video has been constructed for Holy Other’s “Know Where,” which perfectly matches the creepy feel of the track. Much of the clip focuses on shaky-cam footage of various statues and buildings, for reasons that can only be known by director the MFK. The ghostly late-night feel of the song positions this somewhere between the beautiful haze of Clams Casino and the comedown R&B of the Weeknd, with a little of the Art of Noise’s “Moments in Lone” stirred in for good measure. It’s been a traumatic time for Holy Other of late, with tour dates canceled due to ill health, but this is a timely reminder of how skilled he is at creating this stuff. [via GvsB]
