Klaxons: "Flashover"

Three years after Myths of the Near Future, it's hard to remember a time when Klaxons and "nu-rave" were everywhere. We've heard barely a peep from them since the summer of 2007 festival circuit, and considering they were a young band riding on a large wave of media buzz, the band's best option was to quickly release a new album as soon as possible to stay relevant.

With their record label deeming their new material was "too experimental" for their young fanbase, Klaxons were forced to re-record their second album, delaying its release until autumn of this year. On this first track, "Flashover," the band sounds, in a word, pissed. Honestly, why shouldn't they be?

"Flashover" is the aggressive side of Klaxons taking over. It's loud, it's bitter and it's same sort of dancey apocalyptic sound that we may have written off too soon. Take a listen, and be impressed.

Have they leaked the "experimental" album?
