King Khan and the Shrines: Various Tracks (Live on Pitchfork TV's Don't Look Down) (Video)

King Khan and his Shrines took to a rooftop in NYC to bang out some of their rock n' roll revival tunes for Pitchfork TV's Don't Look Down recently, and the results are typical Khan: He plays the James Brown role as his large band sway like old session players. The highlight of this part one of three (there are two more segments airing later this week) is "Welfare Bread," which is above. Below is a video that has the Shrines performing "No Regrets" and "Land of the Freak." [Pitchfork]

what DIRT MGIRT fancies about this is the fact that some first album Kings of Leon is playing during the first few seconds of the first video, those pretencious bastards over at pitchfork never gave those cats over a 6 on there little scale, wtf
