With two incredible singles, "Don't Harsh My Mellow" and "Who Do U-Luv," already in rotation, Chicago hip-hop/rock outfit Kids These Days offers a new track—and new perspective—from their upcoming Traphouse Rock LP. "Bud Billiken," like the title suggests, hears frontman MC Vic Mensa reminisce on the teen wonders of discovering God's green plant. The track also sounds to be a loose cover of Crucial Conflict's "Hay" (word to shamz), only with a little more instrumental flavor. Regardless, "Bud Billiken" is a must-have for the smoking playlist.
Traphouse Rock is due out Oct. 30, just before the Kids hit the road with Asher Roth and Chuck Inglish next month. The full tour schedule can be viewed below.
