I'm not sure if it counts as response or snark, but Kid Cudi's "Poke Her Face" is hot, as well as being conceptually hilarious. The whole track rests on a chopped-up Lady Gaga vocal sample and some choice scratches contributed by A-Trak. Cudi, Kanye and Common wrap all of their verses around, well, face-poking. It's all good fun -- unless this hints at the far-off possibility of Lady Gaga appearing on any of these MCs' next records. That might sound implausible, but Common did do that song with Lily Allen, and Kanye's new afro-futurism might fit in nicely with Lady Gaga's aesthetic. Think of all the critcal headaches/wet dreams that one might cause.
