Kid Cudi appeared on Jimmy Kimmel’s show last night, where he performed a version of his jittery single, “Day N’ Nite.” The song was produced by Dot Da Genius and has been around for almost two years, initially surfacing on the A Kid Named Kudi mixtape in late 2007.
This energetic performance is met by a surprisingly subdued Kimmel audience, although Cudi’s album, Man on the Moon: The End of Day, has certainly made a connection with the public. “Day N’ Nite” has reached such ubiquity that English post-hardcore band Enter Shikari has attempted an ear-bleeding cover, which can be heard below.
