Kid Cudi: "Erase Me" f. Kanye West
The big news out today is that Kanye West and his G.O.O.D. music posse are planning Sept. 14 as G.O.O.D. Music day, as Kid Cudi, Kanye West (and possibly Pusha T, who hinted he'd signed to the label) all release new albums. It sounds like a goofy rumor, but it seems possible: The first single from Cudi's album just hit NahRight. The song, "Erase Me," is a rock-influenced track that sounds like it was originally written for O.A.R. but Kid Cudi took it and made it sorta better. The Jim Jonsin track samples Duran Duran, but that's secondary to Kanye jumping on here with fervor, doing some lover-man bars in a way he hasn't done in a while ("I hope you diarrhea" is the best/worst).
Cudi's Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager is due out on Sept. 14.
