Kelly Rowland: "Lay It On Me" F. Big Sean (Live On Kimmel) (Video)
Ah, coincidences. While I was watching Freddy Vs. Jason last night for laughs, one of the stars of the movie was performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. For those of you who haven't seen the slasher flick -- why? it's hilarious -- I'll fill you in: it was Kelly Rowland, and she appeared on Kimmel's late-night show with Big Sean to perform their collaborative single, "Lay It On Me." The best part about it all is the live band's take on Hit-Boy's production, which is pretty great. That's not to say Rowland doesn't sound good live, because she does, but Hit-Boy clearly chose that moniker for a reason. As for the worst part? Big Sean's outfit. Dude looks like he wandered into Theophilus London's fitting room and just grabbed whatever he could.
