Kelis: "4th Of July (Fireworks)" (Video)

The no-longer-milkshakin Kelis brought her new dance sound on to Jay Leno's black hole of anti-comedy on Friday, performing flanked by three DJs and a drummer. Apparently you need three people riding the steel wheels in order to bring the C+C Music Factory back to life in 2010. I just wonder if dance music fans will buy this or not; I mean, Kelis is still most known for chilling with Nas and the Neptunes, so this sound kind of comes off as calculated. It's very possible that Kelis liked this music before her record company decided this would be her direction, but still. 

Flesh Tone is due out on July 6.
