After dropping the visuals for "Cake" last month, Brooklyn's Keepaway return with a new video that somehow ups the goofball ante from its predecessor. Whereas "Cake" had a kind of chillin'-in-the-afternoon vibe running through it, "Vital" takes that feeling and smashes it with an ACME hammer from Looney Toons.
OK, it's not that goofy, but it's damn close as you watch the guys wake up, shower, eat their breakfast while experiencing magic, and then get into an oddly sexual medieval battle. Whatever all this means is beyond me, but goddamn "Vital" is a catchy-ass tune. And these visuals? Entertaining in the best and weirdest way possible. Well done, Tony Lowe and Lily X. Wahrman.
You can watch the video below. Keepaway's Black Flute is out now.
