“Keep It In Motion”

Guided By Voices aren’t wasting any time following up last year’s Let’s go Eat the Factory. There’s a new full-length record by the band due in June, titled Class Clown Spots a UFO, from which a single titled “Keep It In Motion” is being released. That record will be out on Fire Records on a pink vinyl 7-inch on March 19, backed by “Pink Wings,” “Chicken Wings” and “White World.” The A-side of the single is streaming below, which sticks to the usual lo-fi template we’ve come to expect from Robert Pollard’s band, with overlapping vocal melodies urging the song forward over it’s brief two-minute runtime. As the Quietus reports, expect further singles (“Jon the Croc,” “Class Clown Spots A UFO”) ahead of the album’s release.
