Never one to miss a current pop culture moment, Katy Perry played in Paris recently and decided to perform a cover of Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way.” You can see the performance in the fan-shot video above, which is essentially a stripped-down acoustic rendition of the song that doesn’t add a whole lot to the original but is kind of fun to watch anyway. “I’m kind of a geek,” she says before launching into the song, which doesn’t really shed much light on why Perry chose to cover this particular track.
