Kanye West: "Welcome to Heartbreak" (Video) ft. Kid Cudi

If the video for Kanye West's "Welcome To Heartbreak" reminds you of Chairlift's "Evident Utensil" clip, you're not alone--Kanye himself recognized the similarity and decided to put the video out far in advance of its single promotion to avoid talk of a rip-off. The videos are pretty similar in that they use a screen dematerializing technique to mesh different images--in this case those being Kanye in a pretty sweet sweater and Kid Cudi helping out on the chorus--but Kanye's is less of a peyote trip than Chairlift's. 

"Welcome To Heartbreak," as indicated with the Auto-Tuner, is on Kanye West's 808s and Heartbreak, which is out now.
