I think most of us assumed that after he fired shots at Saturday Night Live on "Power" that Kanye West wouldn't be on the show anytime soon, never mind perform that track on there. Sure enough, though, he proved us wrong last night when he ripped through a live version of both "Power" and "Runaway," with Pusha T joining him for the latter. Yeezy did, however, spit a new second verse on "Power" instead of the original that featured the line: "Fuck SNL and the whole cast." It would have been pretty damn awkward if he left that one in there. As a whole, he and Pusha were impressive and Kanye did a nice job of transforming the usually mundane performance area into a white-walled mini-asylum.

Yeezy's live performances are getting increasingly more theatrical every time out. I can't think of anyone in rap that's doing as much with the visual element as Ye is.
We don't have flying cars, but things like this make me proud that we live in the future.
