Kanye’s 808’s and Heartbreak is out in a little more than a month, but the only track we’ve heard is “Love Lockdown” which Kanye has been bringing around the talk show circuit (but seriously, Ellen?). Last night he headed to Kimmel’s stage with his robot drummers in a performance that was almost identical to his one on Ellen. The only difference was that there are gratuitous shots of women losing their shit in the audience singing along. Apparently Kanye knew that to have a “real” pop hit (as in one that women and men really love) he needed a vocoder and Daft Punk look-alikes. He is a genius. [Nahright]
