Kanye West: "Don't Look Down" f. Lupe Fiasco, Mos Def & Big Sean

Another weekend, another Kanye song. In what feels like the thousandth of his G.O.O.D. Friday releases, here's "Don't Look Down" with Lupe Fiasco, Mos Def and Big Sean. As is somewhat typical of his guests' style, "Don't Look Down" has a lot of self-doubt. It's much slower and more focused than some of the more exuberant things we've been hearing from Kanye, and there are a bunch of allusions to phoenixes flying high, which seems to refer to Kanye's "film," Runaway, which premieres tonight on VEVO and a bunch of TV channels. It's also fitting imagery for Icarus, the Greek myth character who flew too close to the sun. As self-absorbed as Kanye is, at least he seems to be aware of it.

Also, if you're keeping track, this is the second G.O.O.D. Friday track to feature Lupe and "Don't" in the title. There must be some sort of Kanye bingo game that fans can play for this stuff.

Stream "Don't Look Down" below. Download it at Kanye's website.
