The Olympics are supposedly drawing huge ratings, but I find it hard to get excited about tape-delayed basketball games and competitive survival (swimming) that I already know the outcome of. Kanye West’s “Champion” is the kind of competition I can sorta get behind—a puppet Kanye beats Olympic runners while the song calls out Lauren Hill (Lauren Hill said her heart was in zion/ I wish her heart was still in rhymin’”). The video begins with a clip that finds puppet Ye in a court case fighting to get into the Olympics, which may or may not be inspired by this.
That is one fantastic video the puppet idea was genius! Was that Neon who directed that?
Although I love the use of puppets, I don't think its been genius since Fraggle Rock.
Also that Kanye puppet's head needs to be at least 1/3rd bigger.
Puppet Kanye on the pegboard is awesome.
kanye puppet is a pleasant break from just seeing kanye's face...everywhere...ALL...THE...TIME.
I really dug it, but yeah I agree with Al that Kanye Puppet's noggin is way too small.
