Another week comes to a close and we get yet another G.O.O.D. Fri Saturday track from Kanye West and his endless supply of guests. This time, he's linked with previous collaborators Talib Kweli and Consequence, both of whom made some of the more memorable appearances on Ye's debut, The College Dropout. Or, perhaps, it was that they spit on two of the album's top cuts?
Hmph, either way, "Chain Heavy" follows the lead of past free G.O.O.D. tracks as it clocks in at just around six minutes. And its focus is clearly on the verses -- there are four of them -- with the hook featuring Yeezy on his goofball tip. The best part of it all, though, might be Q-Tip's spacey, alien-abduction beat that gets all proggy in the last 30 seconds or so. Could the final version of this actually end up on Kanye and Jay-Z's Watch The Throne? We'll see. I could definitely hear Jigga on this.
Stream the track at Nah Right or download it at Kanye's blog.
