Justin Townes Earle carries a considerable musical legacy in his name (son of Steve Earle, stepson of Allison Moorer, and named after Townes Van Zandt), but he seems to be adjusting to the weight these days. Lest you think the boy is a bit too fresh in the face, worry not: when he came by WNYC in November 2010 he looked like any other young adult who had just rolled out of bed. LIKE YOU AND ME. And, for the record, he is up there with Matthew Dear on my list of really, really tall musicians who are super nice.
