Justin Bieber: "DWYCK Freestyle" (Video)
Even though the paternity suit against him is moving forward, Justin Bieber is still focused on trying to legitimize his rapper side-project. He recently stopped by the Hot 97 studios to kick another "freestyle" -- come on, does that word mean anything anymore? -- over Gang Starr classic "DWYCK." And while I'm not about to get as hype as Peter Rosenberg does in the clip below, the Biebs clearly knows what he's doing when it comes to rapping. He also knows exactly what he's doing in spitting over "DWYCK," which is likely a direct response to former Gang Starr producer DJ Premier.
You might remember that Premo said he didn't want the Biebs involved in the BET Hip-Hop Awards freestyle cyphers because his verse would have been ghostwritten by Ludacris. But as Bieber spits in this new freestyle, "I don’t need Luda to know that I’m the ruler." Oh really? [RR]
