Junior Boys: "ep"
Slated to be the penultimate track on their upcoming fourth full length, "ep" heralds the first taste of Junior Boys' latest synthpop opus It's All True. Anchored by a bass riff that manages to be both funky and stilted, "ep" feels minimal in a way that seems more unfinished than calculated. While various parts of the song recall other, better Junior Boys tracks, "ep" just doesn't quite succeed at making those disperate parts gel.

Stated to be inspired by an extended trip frontman Jeremy Greenspan took to Shanghai, It's All True is due out June 14 via Domino.
