It seemed like that the Converse-sponsored collaboration between Pharrell, Julian Casablances, and Santogold was going to be a quick MP3 one-off, but now a video (looking very similar to the print campaign featuring all three) has surfaced for the three’s track, “My Drive Thru.” The video is a whole lot cooler than the song, which still sounds like a mess. Amen to clever ad campaigns that actually produce something cool-ish, or tries very hard to...and to artists getting paychecks. I'm sure that this will be hailed as the first horse of the apocalypse, but whatevs. The video looks great, and hell it even makes me want to buy another pair of Chucks.
