“Jordan Vs. Bird”

It would appear that New York’s burgeoning gritty rappers are making some moves together. Yesterday, Flushing’s Action Bronson linked with Harlem’s Smoke DZA for a foggy shit-talking fest, “Big Bad & Dangerous.” And today, Bronson keeps it moving by teaming up with Brownsville resident Maffew Ragazino for another gruff, raw track. “Jordan Vs. Bird” — anyone else remember that video game? — is just as heavy on the braggadocio as its predecessor while also carrying a vibe reminiscent of Wu-Tang. Although, maybe I’m just hearing that because Bronson sounds exactly like Ghostface Killah. Either way, I’m anxious to find out where “Jordan Vs. Bird” and “Big Bad & Dangerous” will end up.
